Q & A with the Artist
We are proud to showcase a variety of different kinds of performing arts at the fringe.
What is your show? What kind of performance is it? What is it about?

Fringe festivals are a place for art at all levels of creation. Where are you at in your process?
Is this a first draft? A previously produced piece? An experimental show? Or something else?
By the time our show hits Omaha, Maggie's Convent will have had two full productions. The world premiere was at Ohio University in 2023 followed by a run at the Atlanta Fringe Festival in June 2025. We are super excited to bring this fresh, evolving new work to Omaha!
Why did you submit your show to Omaha Fringe?
We are extremely interested in fringe festival culture and involving ourselves with the artistic atmosphere that surrounds them. After Atlanta Fringe, the obvious following question was "where to next?". After shopping around, Omaha felt like a natural choice to apply to as we love the city and the arts scene the city cultivates!
What are you hoping audiences will experience when they see your performance?
What can audiences expect to take away?
Maggie's Convent is a play about the artistic process. Margaret is trying to break the mold and achieve something that no woman, to her knowledge, has achieved before. I think people should see Maggie's Convent to be inspired to create, connect, and finish that draft! Maggie, William, and Caterina are all relatable in their own right and I hope audiences connect with them as much as we have.
