SAVE THE DATE

August 6-9, 2026

See you next year!

#OmahaFringe25 August 7-10, 2025

Thank you for joining us for the Omaha Fringe Festival, 2025. All of us at Omaha Fringe are delighted to provide the community with another full weekend of original works. This year, we received an overwhelming response to the application process, and are proud to inform you that the producers in this year’s festival represent nine different states. The theme for this year’s festival is Journey, Together. As we have explored this theme as inspiration for the festival, it worked its way naturally into the Omaha Fringe culture itself. We assembled new board members who have poured their hearts into the festival, rooting their minds into the values of the Fringe, and brought forward new and relevant ideas as we have worked to invest in the future of the Fringe. Working with established as well as new members of the board, together, we took the feedback you, the audience members, provided for our continued growth; we added processes to provide more inclusion and communication. We truly found ourselves taking the Journey, Together. As part of the nature of any Fringe festival, we have been pleased to not only continue our Festival journey with UNO and Blackstone Theaters, but are delighted to be sharing space this year with our newest venue partner, the Shelterbelt Theatre. We thank you Dan Wach, and his entire team, for this partnership. We congratulate you, your reopening, and always in our hearts, we thank Roxanne. I encourage everyone to take advantage of seeing as many productions as possible, get to know all our partners and producers, fellow artists, and make connections. We have added activities this year, including the second year of Bingo with prizes, and fun activities with Scooter's Coffee. We had a record number of applicants for the button contest, and we thank Paul Pape Designs for providing, for the first time, cash rewards for winning contestants. Connections take us on unexpected journeys. Unexpected journeys take us to new joys, to new relationships, and to new endeavors we may not have found otherwise. I invite you during this year’s festival, to formulate your new journey.

We then take the Journey, Together. Enjoy!
